Buying a painting online can be a difficult and daunting process. Art should be experienced in the real world but unfortunately this is not always possible. To make you feel more secure about purchasing my work I am happy to have a video conversation with you to discuss a possible purchase or show you anything you are interested in. You may even want to just have a chat about my work.

'a new memory' mixed media collage 44 x 51cm. £1050
'Based in Stockport, John Taylor studied Theatre and Film
Design at the renowned Central St. Martins School of Art in
London, an experience that shaped his distinctive visual
language. His practice draws inspiration from post-war British
art, with a particular affinity for the bold clarity and economy
of line found in mid-century modernism.
Taylor’s work is characterised by a refined simplicity, where
form, colour, and composition are carefully balanced to create
pieces that feel both timeless and contemporary. His interest
in modernist ideals is evident in the way he distils subjects to
their essential elements, evoking a sense of harmony and
restraint while retaining warmth and accessibility.
Exhibiting regularly in London galleries and at leading art fairs
across the UK, Taylor has built a reputation for work that
bridges design and fine art. His paintings resonate with
collectors who appreciate the elegance of mid-century
aesthetics and the continued relevance of modernist principles
in today’s visual culture.'
